Go to "Additional setting" for your online store

When setting the time automatic order transfer from the online store to MetaKocka is performed. The functionality works the same as if the option ''Transfer of purchases'' for the selected online store is selected in '' Connections'' of the user interface. The possible settings:

  • Retrieval time: the list of times when the retrieval is performed. Several values can be listed, however, they must be separated by commas. 10 entries at maximum. Minutes must be rounded to the closest 5 minutes.
  • Check number of days: for how many days back the retrieval of orders is performed. The value ''1'' means that it is performed for 1 day back (from yesterday onwards).
  • Ignore weekends/holidays: during weekends and holidays, orders will not be transferred to MetaKocka
  • e-mail notifying: when performing the retrieval, an e-mail can be sent to the provided list of e-mail addresses (if there are more of them, they must be separated by commas). In addition, we may choose whether the e-mail will always be sent or only in case of errors.

If multiple online stores have the same retrieval time, each retrieval is performed sequentially.

If two or more retrievals overlap (for example the first one is performed at 13:30 for 20 minutes, while the second one starts at 13:35), all the subsequent ones will be skipped.

Entries:

  • 13:45
  • 08:10,12:00,14:00

Advanced format of retrieval

If there is a huge number of orders and frequent retrieval throughout the whole day for your online store is needed (if some day delivery is supported), setting up the particular retrieval time during the day together with indicating how far in the past the data should be checked, is totally possible. That way, the online store will be loaded at its minimum, while the orders will almost immediately arrive to MetaKocka. However, functionality is limited to certain online stores (that support a review of the orders added a certain amount of time ago).

Supported online stores: woocommerce, magento19, magento19_soap, magento20, shopify, shopamine (new)

Example of an entry:

  • 6:05[7d],07:00-18:00[15m,4h],21:30[2d]  - at 6:05perform a retrieval and check for 2 days back; between 7:00 and 18:00 check every 15 minutes for 30 minutes back; at 21:30 check for 2 days back.

Good practices

A couple of good practices:

  • even if the store supports automatic order transfer (so-called webhooks), it is good to set up 1x retrieval per day for 3 days back and an e-mail notification in case of any errors.

Recording

All operations are recorded and it is possible to check the status in Additional settings -> Online stores - Requests tab
