According to the regulation on packaging and packaging waste management (http://www.pisrs.si/Pis.web/pregledPredpisa?id=PRAV6416#) the option to enter the weight of each product packaging as well as the option to print the total sum based on the issued goods is available in MK.
Included documents
All delivery notes for the provided period for all countries are included in the printout. Implementation was created, for example for the online stores, which import all products from third-world countries (i.e. China) and sell to final customers in the EU.
Data preparation DOES NOT take into account the following scenarios:
- the entire stock of goods or part of them are sold to companies in EU countries (not to final consumers)
Composite products
Composite products are supported too. This means that the packaging value can be entered for the parent product and the components and such values will be taken into account when summing up the total.
Example: Product ''Cream 4 pack + additional gift'' is composed of 4x Creams (2g of plastic a piece) and 1x Sponge (3g of paper a piece). Ten products were sold. The total would be:
- Plastic: 10 (sold products) * 4 (each package contains 4x Creams) * 2 (2g plastic a piece) = 80g
- Paper: 10 (sold products) * 1 (each package contains 1x Sponge) * 3 (3g paper a piece) = 30g
Packaging consumed in production
If a larger amount of products is received in one packaging and such is thrown away, the discarded part must be manually recorded and included in the reported amount accordingly. In MetaKocka, such data cannot be recorded. Examples:
- products received from the online store are packed in a large box with 100 pieces inside and such a box is thrown away
- the consumption of material that arrived packed in a large quantity inside the box, is recorded in the work order,
Important legal articles
According to the regulation on packaging and packaging waste management (http://www.pisrs.si/Pis.web/pregledPredpisa?id=PRAV6416#) we consider the following articles to be important for understanding this topic:
Article 2

Article 3
(meaning of terms)

Enabling the functionality
Functionality is enabled in ''Your company'' where one or multiple types of packaging, which will be entered for products, should be specified.
Entering values for products
Values for different types of packaging that were previously enabled in Your company can be now entered for products.
Importing packaging in bulk
The packaging weight is imported with the file for changing products (Products - change)
Prepare the file - in columns enter the packaging which is imported to products
Import the file
After the successful import, the data is recorded for products.
Packaging waste Report
The report is located in Sales -> reports.
It is composed of two parts:
- Summary - contains the total sum of individual parts of the packaging
- Data - detailed display of the captured documents.
