If you are a developer of software equipment and you need a development environment, we can help you in the following ways:


  1. Register your company and use it for development. You will be denoted as ''Developer'' and you will have unlimited access to the app.
    Advantage: your own development environment Disadvantage: entering data for products, customers, etc. is required. The environment may be set differently from the customer's environment.
    Procedure: register your company and contact us by sending an e-mail to podpora@metakocka.si, in order to denote you as a ''Developer''.
  2. Copy data from the customer's invoice to the dev server, where the testing would be performed.                               Advantage: practically the same data and settings, as with the customer from production (check below what may be different)                                                                                                                                                          Disadvantage: some functionalities are disabled (see below)                                                                                              Procedure: the customer must inform our support about the developer who should be able to access their data on dev server. Furthermore, the support will perform the data copy and provide the developer with the access credentials. If the developer needs the new data copy, that must be communicated to our e-mail address - podpora@metakocka.si and we will perform the data copy again. The old data will be deleted.


Developing on Dev server

In case of performing the data copy to the dev server, the following will change for the developer:



  • URL address - not "main.metakocka.si" anymore, but "devmainsi.metakocka.si" instead. Logging in to the application is possible via https://devsi.metakocka.si/prijava.html
  • e-mail addresses are different. For instance, ''janez.novak@metakocka.si'' will be changed to ''blajanez.novakbla@metakocka.si'' (random generator). Take this into account especially if creating documents and data of the document's author's e-mail address
  • Potrebno je uzeti u obzir pogotovo u slučaju da kreirate dokumente i podatke e-mail adrese autora dokumenta 
  • fiscal cash registers are disabled
  • document attachments are not transferred
  • document backgrounds are not transferred
  • the connection settings related to online stores, delivery services, e-mail servers, etc. are also not transferred


Warning: MK support can perform data re-copying anytime for their own testing needs. As a result, data will be deleted and access credentials will be changed. You will NOT be notified about this. Please contact our support in order to obtain new access.



FAQ

  • If data is modified in the copy  - will that be visible in the original data?
    NO. Copy is a completely separate base and certain limitations are set (see the text above) so that the workflow would not affect the external integrated services (for example, tax cash register).
  • Is it possible that some data could be deleted when copying it? For example orders, invoices, etc.?
    NO. All data is copied (except data that is listed for the Developing on Dev server)
