Required information for HU tax certification

Registration and obtaining login information:
To obtain (Username, Password, Signature key and Exchange key), registration on the website is required:
https://onlineszamla.nav.gov.
1. Click on the REGISTRATION button
2. Click on REGISTRATION BY TAXPAYERS OBLIGATED TO SUPPLY DATA
For further registration, you need a Username and Password, which you obtain through CLIENT GATE access. Your representative for HU tax mediation has CLIENT GATE access, and you will need their assistance to register a technical user
3. You need to set up a PRIMARY user and a TECHNICAL user:

When you register a technical user, you will receive the data to input into MetaKocka:

Frequency of Sending and Verification
Invoices are sent to the Hungarian tax authority (HuTax) only if they are printed or marked as printed. Every 23 minutes past the hour (00:23, 01:23, 02:23, etc.), a verification of these invoices is performed, and the data is sent to HuTax.
After that, a verification is conducted for invoices that have not yet received a final processing status from HuTax - either DONE or ABORTED.
In practice, this means that after printing the invoice, you should wait a maximum of 1 hour for it to be confirmed, and then an additional hour (depending on HuTax's responsiveness) for the invoice to be appropriately approved / rejected.

In the invoice, you can see under additional information when the invoice was sent to HuTax and what the acceptance status was.

Error: The invoice has been confirmed by the Hungarian tax authority and cannot be modified. Issue a credit note.
If the invoice has been printed and confirmed by the Hungarian tax authority, the data can no longer be changed, as it has already been submitted for confirmation. Therefore, to modify the invoice, a credit note must be issued, and a new invoice created. The invoice can be edited if it has not yet been printed (which means it has not been issued).
Changes that are allowed even if the invoice has already been confirmed by the Hungarian tax authority:

As of 1 January 2021, tax certification of invoices is legally required if you have a HU tax number. Due to the trial period, the legal requirement for electronic certification of invoices will commence with invoices issued from 1 July 2021 onwards.
