Warehouse mapping of orders allows you to enable mapping of the warehouse and delivery type for individual items in an order. This functionality is useful if you want to ship part of the items (for example, due to their weight and size) from a separate warehouse or via a different delivery service.



You can find the settings for warehouse mapping under the additional settings of Order Management

We recommend editing the data in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.

Copy the entire entry into the empty field of additional settings and save it. If the entry is incorrect, an error message will appear – correct it and save again.


Entry rules:

  • All columns must follow the same order and be separated by a TAB character
  • The initial columns Status, Warehouse, Delivery Type, and Item Code can contain multiple values, but they must be separated by a comma. The values for New warehouse and New delivery type should contain only one value and must not be separated by a comma
  • If there are no conditions for the initial columns, an asterisk should be entered - *


Mapping is performed if at least one item in the order (or a component of an item in the order) is included in the rule. If there are multiple rules for the order, only the first one is considered. Additionally, the rules are not applied to the order if an invoice has already been generated.


If there is a change in the warehouse and delivery type, or if the operation does not occur due to the invoice link to the order, an appropriate message will be recorded on the document. This message is always displayed when clicking the More Information button.


Setting the warehouse and delivery type is already possible:

  • In the settings of the online store

  • If your online store offers multiple delivery options, such as GLS SLOVENIA, POST OF SLOVENIA, or if you have specified that one delivery method is selected for the EU and another for non-EU regions, the mapping of records from the online store to the delivery types in the MetaKocka order is determined.
