Option - arranging prices

Price can be added to the product on the price list as displayed below.

The option is enabled in Settings/Your company - "Arranging product prices on the price list"

Arranging purchase prices for component

When adding the component, the purchase price of the product was set. For example (10 EUR for product 1 and 40 EUR for product 2). This is not the real product price but only the proportion. Eventually, it is determined through a goods received note or purchase invoice.

Example: The product was received for 100 EUR. The set comprises 4x product 1 (with a value of 10 EUR) and 1x product 2 (with a value of 40 EUR). The estimated value of the set is 4 x 10 + 1 x 40 = 80 EUR. In total, product 1 represents 50% of the purchase price, product 2 represents the remaining 50%. Since the product with component was received for 100 EUR, 50% is 50 EUR and since there are 4 products 1, each will have the purchase price of 50/4=12,5 EUR. Product 2 will have a purchase price of 50 EUR.

The whole set can be sold or each product individually. One product can be received in the warehouse and sold as a set. In this case, the real stock value of individual products that are part of the set is considered.

Example:

  • 100 pieces of Product 1 are bought for 2 EUR/piece and 25 pieces of Product 2 are bought for 8 EUR/piece

  • The set is sold (Product with component) for 200 EUR. Such will have the purchase value of 4 x 2 EUR (Product 1) + 1 x 8 EUR (Product 2) = 16 EUR. RVC is then 200 - 16 = 184 EUR
