The Fulfillment application is intended for all companies that include fulfillment services in their activity. The following functionalities are covered within the application:

  • Receiving orders from the online store
  • Dispatch of orders
  • Processing of undelivered packages
  • Warehouse operations

User module

The fulfillment application includes the company's user module for which the fulfillment service is performed.

In the user module, all online orders that are forwarded to fulfillment are collected; the user can monitor the status of orders and track orders until final delivery:

The user also has an overview of the stock status and stock movement by item in the Fulfillment Center:

Fulfillment module / application

The central part of the Fulfillment service is the Fulfillment application, which is intended for the operational fulfillment of services and covers the following operations:

1. Shipping

Each company has its own access to the Metakocke profile in which orders from the online store are collected (support integration for Woocommerce, Shopify, Magento, Presta shop, Open cart, Shopamine, Mall group, or custom integration via API).

When orders are processed and ready for shipment, they are automatically imported into the Fulfillment application and ready for further processing by the fulfillment center.

Orders that need to be shipped are collected in the Ready to Ship display, where you can choose from various filters (selection of the company for which the packages are being prepared, delivery service, Customer order, country, and tracking code...). When you select orders and click on the Print labels button, labels are created for the selected delivery service.

When the labels are ready, download and print them via the printer and at the same time, create a list of items that you need to ship the selected orders:

You then scan the received labels with a mobile application, where you get all the information about the content of the order:

Once the package is scanned, the order status changes from Ready to Ship to Shipped and everyone involved is notified. Both the Fulfillment company, which maintains a list of shipped packages in its application and the company for which the service was performed, obtains information about the shipped package in its profile.

The user can also follow the path of the package in his profile from the moment of dispatch until the final delivery:

2. Processing of unclaimed parcels

If the recipient does not pick up packages in the delivery process, and packages are returned to the Fulfillment center. If the package is returned, it  can be  scanned with a mobile reader, and the status of the package is changed to the Returned package.

The status or condition of the package is thus visible to all participants in the process, both the fulfillment center in the Fulfillment application, as well as the company for which the fulfillment service is performed in its user profile.

3.  Warehouse operations

Good warehouse operations and support of warehouse processes are crucial for successful management and provision of fulfillment services.

In the Fulfillment application, an overview of the stock by companies for which the fulfillment service is provided is available.

The product is managed in the warehouse with the following information:

  • product code
  • EAN code
  • product name
  • product location
  • Lot number if the product contains
  • validity date if the article contains it
  • Physical stock in the Fulfillment warehouse
  • Reservations: how many orders/items are expected to be imported into the fulfillment application from the user's profile
  • Free stock: how many items are still available for resale

Information on the stock status is thus updated instantly and provides a realistic display of the stock status at any time.

The reader's mobile application provides operations for easy warehouse management.

Reciving orders ( Inbound orders )

The company prepares a task in its user interface, which items and how many will be delivered to the Fulfillment warehouse. The pick-up inbound order is visible in the application, so you know which items and what quantity to expect. When the stock of items arrives at the fulfillment center, scan the items and mark the amount received. The stock will be automatically transferred to the warehouse when you save the document.

Receiving note

A document with which you also influence the stock status & values and use it if you want to take a certain amount of the item into stock.

Delivery note
