1. Create a Gift voucher (product)

When selling Gift vouchers, one must be created as a product in MetaKocka. Instructions for adding a new product can be found here.

According to the law, gift vouchers must be traceable. Traceability is managed by using serial numbers. Instructions for activating and using serial numbers. In addition, add gift voucher supplies, in order to assign them a serial number (for gift vouchers, stock can be added by adding goods received note). When the voucher is sold, sell it as any other product, but please make sure to specify its serial number. 

2. Create another gift voucher (service)

A gift voucher as a service will be used when the customer enters the store and pays for something with one.

3. Paying with a Gift Voucher

When the customer enters the store and pays with a Gift Voucher, create a new invoice with selected products, add a Gift voucher (as a service), and enter the negative quantity and gift voucher value accordingly.

If the invoice total exceeds the gift voucher total then the customer must compensate the difference.
